Welcome to the website of Big Creek Cattle Company—BIGC. Our farms are run under the direct supervision of our herd manager R. Wade Humm. Wade has more than 25 years of expertise in breeding and raising livestock.

We pride ourselves on producing quality Gelbvieh, Angus and Balancer seed stock.

Our philosophy is to continually enhance our herd and its offspring through engineered genetics. We start with animals that possess a strong phenotype and an excellent lineage. Next we deploy the use of Artificial Insemination and Embryo Transfer to improve the physical appearance and supercharge the genetic make-up (EPDs) of each subsequent generation of our cattle.

Our current focus is on the best in Gelbvieh, Angus and Balancer® cattle. I would recommend you visit our farms and see for yourself.
