The Opera World mourns the untimely passing of the true OperaMan, Richard Pearlman, on April 8, 2006. A news release from Lyric Opera of Chicago is available here.
A memorial service for Richard Pearlman was held at Lyric Opera of Chicago, 20 N. Wacker Drive, Room 200, Saturday, 3 June 2006.
In his name, a charitable trust for music is being established in Chicago which will support young opera singers.
